Simulate Traffic and Generate Protocols
Investigator™ Serial Front Panel Data Port (sFPDP) Traffic
Generator software simulates traffic with user-defined patterns
and is able to generate sFPDP protocols on individual ports at
different speeds. It supports standard connection speeds at
speeds of 1.0, 2.0, 2.5 Gbps and also supports non-standard
display rates of 3.125 and 4.25 Gbps. The Traffic Generator also
monitors statistics on individual ports.
The sFPDP Traffic Generator sends user-defined sFPDP frames at
any speed, up to full line rate, with the ability to insert
programmed errors into the packet stream. Both "Idle Frame" and
"Idle Primitive" support are provided.

Working with other Investigator™ Products
Investigator™ sFPDP Traffic Generator software
can work alone or be added to your existing sFPDP Protocol
Analyzer.
Our sFPDP Traffic Generator works with Absolute Analysis BERT
and the Investigator™ sFPDP Analyzers to give you the freedom
for complete testing, from physical layer connectivity to upper
layer protocols.
By working together with our Protocol Database Editor and
Utility Tools, you can generate custom test patterns for a
custom application and create new protocols. You can also use
the feature-rich Drag-and-Drop, trigger and filtering
capabilities, as well as Library API for test automation.

protocol tests with ease and confidence!
