Conduct TRUE Protocol Testing
A unique strength of the Absolute Investigator™ Error Injector is the ability to use the full triggering and filtering functionality of the Investigator™ Protocol Analyzer. This multi-stage, triggering state analyzer transforms simple error injection on a matched frame into TRUE protocol testing, where multiple states within a protocol must occur — in sequence — before the error injection will take place.

Invisible Integration
The Absolute Investigator™ Error Injector is hardware enabled by firmware (FPGA) that sits invisibly "in-line" between two devices and is currently configured in port pairs.

Working with Other Absolute Analysis Investigator™ Products
Investigator™ Error Injector can work alone to test data
delay effects on your storage network or devices and test the
quality of the physical layer connectivity. Our Error Injector
works in conjunction with Investigator™ Traffic Generators and
Investigator™ Protocol Analyzers, providing you with the freedom
to test completely, from physical layer connectivity to upper
layer protocols, and from static protocol analysis to dynamic
protocol analysis.
By working with our Investigator™ Protocol Database Editor and
Investigator™ Application Software, you can generate custom test
patterns for a custom application, and use the feature-rich Drag
& Drop trigger and filtering capabilities, as well as Library
API for test automation.
